Okay...I'm back. And glad to be back. I'll be catching you up on some things in the days ahead, but first something of importance on this day of June 26...the 33rd anniversary of the day I met Alex and we played the epic show at McVan's described in the book.
If you haven't checked out the Kickstarter page for the forthcoming Big Star documentary, please do so immediately. There are only 41 hours left for you to help with the completion of the movie and get some really cool BS swag in the process. I've spent some time with the filmmakers and am completely confident that this is going to be a rock doc that goes far beyond the typical story of a band. So click on the link below and get started.

Hi - all of this is great! I met Alex in NYC in 77, and he told me to see the Cramps, who he's seen for the first time the night before. My ex-girlfriend was now his girlfriend...he lived in the same building as my bass player...anyway!
I've got your Radio City book and have read it before but I just saw the link/URL to this page and this is the first time I've come here. Are you still here?
You intimate in the book that there's some interviews with Alex here? I can't find them.
Oh yeah - I recorded a night at CBGBs on cassette, and though it's a little harsh, it's better than the Ocean Club album because he had Fran Kowalski on Farfisa! Let me know if you want to hear it - or already have? You never know with the internet - it could have been pressed to vinyl in Russia for all I know!
I was in the Unholy Modal Rounders at the time - we are about to put out an album of out last gig at the Bottom Line - July 7, 1977. It'll be called "7/7/77"
Thanks for all you've done and all you do!
