Nice article about the 33 1/3 series at this very nicely done English / Australian alternative music site. This is conclusion of the part about Radio City: "It’s about as an authorative and informative an exposition as you could hope for." Thanks, mates!

The book is back in the Top 20 again. I'll have a full-length update over the weekend, including some new info about the alternate version of O My Soul on the box set. But right now, it's a beautiful autumn morning and it's time to go watch some of the top high school cross-country runners in North America.

I love the book, as I do many in the 33 1/3 series, particularly the pleasant surprise of your own personal interaction with the stories, often the best part of any of the 33 1/3 books. Because it is often amazing how that experience interacts with or mirrors the readers

I lived in Memphis in the early eighties and have probably seen Alex hundreds of time on and off stage in various similar tangental encounters and shared friend of a friend interactions. (Typical of these related in http://memphibianinlondon.blogspot.com/ and plenty more where that came from.)

But why I really posted this was, I would really like to get my hands on some Blue Reimondos material, is there any way?

I look forward to your posts on Pete LaBonne.

Thanks Hans. I'm going to post a link to your blog. LOVED the Panther Burns stories. Really cool. As far as the Blue Reimondos and Peter LaBonne...I've got to do my homework so I can post mp3s. I've got some things here just waiting to go. In the meantime, you might pick up a copy of Peter's CD, Mediation Garden. You can find used copies fairly cheap. Come to think of it, you may have crossed paths with Peter somewhere somehow in your travels with Tav...
